Essential oils have been a part of my herbal toolbox for many years. During my formal herb school training in the mid 90s, essential oils were taught and used as part of the curriculum and in the school clinic.

Results varied. Most oils were at least adequate quality, some were exceptional and a few were outright fakes: like the great deal I got on Sandalwood oil in a shop in Kathmandu!
