10 Month Foundations of Herbal Medicine for 2020
Registration is closed for the 10 month Foundations of Herbal Medicine program in 2020.
Registration for the 2021 program opens August 1, 2020.
A Flagstaff-based course in Community Herbalism, emphasizing (but not limited to) bio-regional healing plants from the Verde Valley up though the higher elevations around Flagstaff. The focus of the summer Colorado trip is plants from 9,000′ – 12,000′ and goes above treeline.
A brief over view of the topics introduced include:
Botany – Plant Chemistry – Anatomy – Physiology – Solvents & Polarity – Body Systems – Traditional Chinese Medicine – Ayurveda – Energetics from the Western Herbal perspective – Herbal Pharmacy – Materia Medica – Nutrition & Diet – Foraging – Wildcrafting – Minerals
The group meets in Flagstaff, one weekend a month from February through November with additional dates and regional travel in June, July and August.

Elderberry Elixir Workshop
and Native Plant Walk

A plant walk through the native gardens around Willowbend with plant ID and traditional uses shared + A hands-on demo showing you how to make your own Elderberry Elixir at home
